Can we land at Everest Base Camp for the proposal?
No. Commercial helicopter landings at Everest Base Camp are not allowed. Kala Patthar offers a better view of Everest and is the usual landing site.
How long do we stay at Kala Patthar?
The landing is brief because of thin air, usually 10 to 20 minutes depending on conditions.
Can you arrange photography?
Yes. Tell us before booking and we will arrange photo or video support. Drone filming needs separate permission and may cost extra.
How many people can come?
A helicopter carries up to five passengers, so you can bring up to three guests to witness the moment.
A proposal at the foot of the world's highest mountain needs privacy, good light and a plan. This private charter flies you and your partner (and up to three guests, if you wish) from Kathmandu to Kala Patthar in the early morning, when the air is clearest.
